What’s happening at the BIS? The simple answer is lots. As a new season starts (although with somewhat varied mountain temperatures, it must be said!), the youngest Régent pupils are learning about spring. Le Régent is trialling a new curriculum (The International Early Years Curriculum or IEYC) and pupils have been doing lots of planting and growing from the unit « The world around us’ ». The IEYC promotes these connections across different subjects and this Unit has incorporated all areas of learning. Most importantly, the children seem to be getting a lot from it!
