With Swiss schools closed from 8th March to 11th May, Le Régent had the chance to measure up to its status an Apple Distinguished School offering future-ready learning. The short answer is that it passed with flying colours. Although students used their school MacBook laptops or iPads, the Remote Learning model put in place relied on Google Classroom for older children and Seesaw for the youngest of our pupils. The results were impressive, and parental and pupil feedback extremely positive. Although no one would want online learning to be the future of schooling, teachers learned a lot about the learning process, preparation and communication.
